New Sea

The New Sea divides ordered civilization on the east from wild frontier on the west. In the mountains, marshes and rolling plains of West Atlantica one finds premiere vistas and excitement out one's own back door. Encounters with the (mostly) friendly natives are not unusual. Northern Monda Nova, however, is untamed backcountry, full of desert banditos, lawless gunpowder towns and greedy gold miners.

Mosquito Sea

For turquoise waters as warm as a bath, enchanted island archipelagos with gently waving palms, and the promise of mountains of ancient gold, one should certainly sail south and west. But beware - there are those who swear they've narrowly escaped cannibalism, and worse. The storms are furious here, and there's little aid if one is swallowed by a whirlpool. A price for every paradise!

Silk Seas

Geographists continue to debate whether the Silk Seas ought to be counted as one or two seas. In any event, voyagers traverse these waters at the north to access the exquisite Dragonlands, with its terraced rice-fields and legendary flying cities, as well as to try their luck entering high-walled Wabi-Sabi. At the south, the jungles which surround the Monsoon River hide volcano villages, mysterious canopy peoples and more exotic, poisonous wildlife than is possible to see in a lifetime.

Sea of Antiquity

Here one can find port in many friendly and interesting cities such as royal Crowndon, busy Poort Van Winkle or sun-soaked Romantica, or go adventuring in the countryside. From the golden pasta fields and red wine aqueducts of Medimarinea to the dark forests and marshy woods of the Foglands all the way up to icy Arctica with its huge armored locomotives and cities of wood, there's plenty to see and do. Why, many sailors make their fortunes never once having left the Sea of Antiquity at all!

High Sea

The bleakest, most desolate, emptiest expanse of water, the High Sea is also the most free. There may not be much in the way of civilization here, save for certain cruel and rocky islands, but one should never let one's guard down on the open water. One never knows what lurks beneath the waves.

Holy Sea

So named for the religious cultures of Medimarinea and the Red Desert which it connects, one is sure to find ample danger and excitement here. The shining city of Ishtar is home to a diverse array of peoples, many expert explorers and sea-farers in their own right. The swirling sands of the Red Desert hold island tower-cities, ancient, unexplored tombs and cursed oases. As for eastern Medimarinea, one finds friendly port in Marjoram, from which one can explore the thousands of crumbling ruins scattered throughout the countryside.

Ivory Sea

Few roam these waters, I'm afraid. They are fearsomely perilous to navigate, and the coasts are infested with pirates. Not the jaunty type, either - these brigands will just as soon lop off one's head as blow their noses. The thick and wild southern jungles await those brave enough to try, though few have returned from such a journey, and none with more to show for it than their lives and a horrifying story. Yes, the Ivory Sea is best avoided altogether.
