The ship's navigator and eldest Wicklow child, Verona intends to be a famous and important explorer. She loves nothing more than setting sail for some marvelous, unknown shore, and striking out to see what wonders it has to offer.
She can be a bit naive perhaps, but makes up for it with enough cleverness and fearlessness to get the family Wicklow through anything. |

Mischief-making twins and reckless rope-masters, Fritz and Felix are inseparable, and unstoppable in their quest to enjoy the fullest out of every living moment. No four walls can contain them or their boundless energy.
Unfortunately, while they'll do anything for one another, the twins can at times be cruel and thoughtless towards others. One hopes they'll grow out of it. |
Boy genius, inventor, and ship's engineer, Waldo has many talents, which he often feels go sorely unappreciated. His room is also the ship's engine room, where he tends to the Merry Mariner's inner workings alongside his own contraptions and concoctions in his workshop.
Though sometimes a bit sour on first impression, Waldo's mood instantly improves when presented with a puzzle to solve. |
Pip serves as the ship's lookout and sleeps in the crow's nest. As the littlest and quietest of the Wicklow children, he is sometimes utterly forgotten about by the others. But that's only because he's quite good at minding himself.
Pip rarely speaks. Despite his size, he's also the bravest of them all. |
